PASTA WITH LABNEH

Ingredients


2 cups of pasta (shell shape)

2 packs of Labneh (or 1 ½ packs)

2 ½ cups of water or less

A pinch of salt

1 or 2 crushed garlic cloves

½ cup of pasta boiling water (optional)

Pine nuts

Butter

 

Instructions


Boil the 2 cups of pasta (shell shape) and set them aside. In a bowl, mix the 2 packs of Labneh with 2 ½ cups of water (or less), a pinch of salt, and 1 or 2 crushed garlic cloves. Stir well until the mix- ture is slightly thick. You can add ½ cup of the pasta boiling water if desired. Adjust the salt. Transfer the cooked pasta to a bowl, pour the Labneh mixture on top, and mix it well with the hot pasta. Transfer the pasta to a serving plate. In a separate pan, fry pine nuts with butter (be careful not to burn the butter). Sprinkle the fried pine nuts over the pasta.
