Ingredients
1 cup of Syrian pepper powder
1 ½ cups of water
5 walnuts
1 minced onion
1 ½ tbsp of cumin seeds
2 tbsp of pomegranate molasses
2 tbsp of tahina
1/3 cup of bread crumbs
2 coffee cups of olive oil
1 tsp of saltlt
Instructions
Soak the Syrian pepper powder in 1 ½ cups of water for 15 minutes until damp. Add 5 walnuts, 1 minced onion, and 1 ½ tbsp of cumin seeds. Beat the mixture well or blend it in the blender. 3 Incorporate the soaked pepper into the mixture and continue to mix with a fork. 4 5 6 Add 2 tbsp of pomegranate molasses, 2 tbsp of tahina, and 1/3 cup of bread crumbs. Mix well, taste, and adjust the amount of tahina and pomegranate molasses as needed. Pour in 2 coffee cups of olive oil and add 1 tsp of salt. Mix everything together and taste to adjust. Add more olive oil if necessary.
